今早起床，决定好好的宠-宠自己。。。

平时出门都像赶鸭子似的，今天可慢条斯理的“叹早茶”，选购新装，再决定理-理头发，把头发再剪短些。。。。过后再来一顿丰富的晚餐。。

我俩大开杀戒，我想我吃了有始以来最多sushi & salmon，Sunway Pyramid - Sagun 的日本料理buffet
真的"kampateh"

充电后，又可以有精力来应付接下来的挑战！！

短暂的分离还可以，因为我已经开始想念两个小瓜了！！

First Part of School Holiday

School Holiday !!! Holiday for 4 of us !!!

We arranged below complex arrangement for first part of holiday....

En will be going to Spore for her long waited and super fun trip
Ze will stay with at Mcca to have fun with his 公公与婆婆
Daddy and mummy will be having holiday too at KL (this is the ultimate aim to arrange above all ....heeee).

Beginning of School Holiday......

Friday was last day of school day for En, we heading back to Mcca only on Sunday afternoon after the parents day for En's Helen O'Grady, Speech & Drama class. Here are some photoes taken on her presentation day.

Teacher Adrianna comment on Zo En :

Zo En is the yongest student in the class in terms of age and the period she join, she is very shy but she has the courage to stand on stage in front of the audience without stage fear, that's the great first move, believe us and give us some time, we can do wonder on her.

We were quite dissappointed at first when we saw En did not really participate actively during the performance..... (basically the students are require to speak out drama line clearly with confidence and expression on stage)its really bad to have this kind of feeling even for just a moment as she has just joined the class for few lessons and we should see her as her, not to compare with other child...

As a parents, we really need to be patience and allow time for them to grow as each child is different. I have seen many types of parents and their different behaviour is truely a learning lesson for me. I am still learning to be real "Mother".

At evening time, we brought them to beach to enjoy the sea breeze as they seldom get the chance to go to beach as there is none in KL. They both enjoy especially En who refuse to leave even when the sky turn dark :p

tired day for 4 of all, En fell sleep in the car on our way back home after had her favourite fish ball, noodle, cocacola and 100 plus. she is charging her energy for her trip to S'pore tomorrow (this is the 1st time she travel on long journey bus, hope its not too tiring for her...)

i am going to miss my two cutie, sob sob.... me need to charge up full energy as well for my class day tomorrow.....daddy alreay zzzzz like nobody business.

Lee's Family Gathering

Let me introduce En & Ze's cousins who stay in Australia (Steven, , Yvonne 则豪& 诗韵） . We barely have chance to meet and they flew back this time round to process identity card for Ze Hao. Seeing them always bring back me and dear memory where we spent our second part of honeymoon at Sydney and we really had great time there, we will sure make our second visit to Sydney with little two kids

则豪& 诗韵 has grown up to be handsome boy and pretty girl, 诗韵 is soso..soft spoken and very sweet, 则豪 is ABC, heheh, his English slange is "powderful", wah and he is mature in thinking

We had dinner gathering to celebrate mother's birthday, before departure to restaurant, En and Ze was happy playing at the garden with ah gong and ah ma. Father seems more appreciate bonding time with family nowsday.

On second day, Steven prepare western cuisine for us, all of us really enjoyed the lunch, the kids are playing, eating, running....

"天下无不散之筵席", they flew back on 29 Apr, we make the trip down to KLIA to send them off, ，登杰，秋萍，则豪 & 诗韵,we will meet again in Sydney ya !!

P/S -last but not least, 秋萍，i lost the copy of the chocolate cake recipe... wasted your hardwork explaining to me... i will get from mother again...

Growing Up

well,i'm going to spologise for not updating my blog for long time, life are kinda of busy, as usual.... the two kids are growing happily, Ethan has slowly blossomed into a small boy, losing his toddler-ship, baby fats and developing defined features, he is still refuse to walk on his own though he can even run with our support, urgh !!!
He can understand most of the simple instruction. Become more and more handsome, at least on our eyes LOL

As for En, she has getting more and more mature and always surprised us with her interesting remarks.

"mummy, what's the matter with this crazy Ethan ?"(when ethan was crying loud for unfulfill demand)
"mom (she will call me mom accasionally),i want you and daddy to stay young forever"
"i don't like pink dress, but mummy wants me to wear on CNY,i have no choice"

As what every mum would say, time flies!!

Ethan at 14 months

Ethan turned 14 months. Looks at his charming smile !!!

Food
Ethan is food lover,food can keep him occupied. He likes cookies the most.
Here are the menu i planned for him other than his daily 3-4 times milk intake

Breakfast
cereal with yogurt with fruit
or
wholemean bread with butter or cheese and some cookies

-Plan to prepare fruit juice for him but just too lazy to carry out this task especially the washing of the blender part.
- Normally will let him sit on high chair and have breakfast together with me, but so far only manage to finish my bread and glass of milk and its the time he will start climbing out of high chair :(
-Will try out following for his breakfast
Oat Porridge cooked in Milk with Apples + Dried Apricots

Lunch
lunch is very simple as sometimes i will just sbbsitute lunch with another feeding of milk
- oatmeal with honey
- fruit

Dinner
- his dinner is not other than sweet potatoes, fish, diff kind of vege,carrots,bean curd, pumpkin..
- Below are the variety of dinner which i plan to prepare for him, quite pity of him eating same type of food though he enjoy it
1)Poached salmon in pork stock with brocolli and egg yolk
2)Poached snapper in milk with spinach, sweet potato
3)Stewed Pork with Pears + Swede in Chicken Stock
- Japanese Rice + Brown Rice Porridge
4)Pasta Cabonara (Sauteed Baby Corn + Sugar Beans + Milk + Egg Yolk

Mobility
== He moves around the house mainly by crawling, still dare not walk without support though he enjoy walking about with his hands being held.
== He can stand unsupported momentarily.
== He likes to pick things up and place them in bottles, boxes, containers.
== He is able to climb down from the bed, buttocks and legs first. Even stairs, with some assistance. His record is climbing up and down stair for close to 30 times in a day. tired me. We have bought stairs divider and think this tool can ease us at times
== He will pick up rubbish on the floor and crawl to dusbin, press to open and throw into the dusbin

Other means of communication
== He sign pain, but in his own way by touching the part where he hurt
== He expresses her happiness by clapping hands and showing his "geram" face
== He stuck out his tougue when he know he did something wrong. We noticed he is afraid of his dagu and dare not do "bad " thing in front of her.

Emotions and character
== He’s still clingy now, preferring me,daddy and popo over most people. However, he only fusses a little before she allows another person to carry or handle him.

==He loves books, flipping them, pointing at the pictures, saying the names of familiar objects by saying similiar sound.His favourite book now is "old hat new hat" , dont know why, he will sure flip to the last page and shout out excitedly

==He enjoys En En program occasionally, especially when Mickey Mouse opening music being played "its Mickey mouse clubhouse, come inside, its fun inside ". Also, he quite like programme "Johnny and the sprites", he can sit at the sofa watching together with En En; but it will not last more than 10 minutes.

==He’s rather independant (when mummy not with him), daddy can normally leave her alone with some toys or books, and he can keep himself occupied.

==He enjoy pulling out our glassed and put on his face, when u show him angry face,he will smile at you in return. He is very fast at action and will quickly switch to left hand when we still busy monitoring his right hand movement

==He will shout out and drag your body to doorstep when he notice someone have changed to different outfit.

==He likes fish very much and enjoy listen to song " fishes, fishes, where are you".He will take his relax time and enjoy seeing fishes swimming in the pool.

Taking It Easy

I have somewhat lost some motivation to blog the past 2 months as evident in my short list of posts. It's not that the two kids aren't doing anything interesting or funny to note, just that I have been bothering over small lumps that we discovered near En En's ear, we have seek few doctor advice...PD, surgeon and chinese doctor and was given comment not to worry too much but somehow i just don't feel comfortable when the color turned bit redness and the size seems grow slightly bigger over past 2 wks, now just continue to feed her chinese medicine and will then decide on the next... sigh, if only we can buy health . Now, whenever I have any more time, I feel guilty blogging, so instead I spend together with both of them.

For yesterday and tonight, its the first time i sleeping alone without laughter of my sweetie and cutie, daddy should be having sweet time now fishing near the jetty, so envy of him, i hardly have time for myself especially after i move back to KL, i have been really busy build up my Kumon career plus take turn with daddy to take care two of them.

I am pleased to be taking things a little easier recently, or at least I am trying... Will try to find time for more hobbies that I want to pick up! Gotta take more pictures of everything that is going on in my life though...

Now am countingdown to our S'pore trip.... watch this space! I am gonna to bring them to the kids playground at Botanic garden, east coast and En's favourite games place...

for myself, will want to shop for nice and smart attire for the little one and not forgetting for myself and dear.

I believed En & Ze shall have great time spending time at her yeeyee place.

doing gardening with ah gong who jog, drive, golf, and perform daily activities just like young man at age of 80. Really full of energy , kudos !!

En En School Concert

Not forgetting Ethan who gave fullest support to her jie jie by clapping haands and behaving well during the two hours concert time

My little princess En En has been choosen to become little flower on her school concert.
Can tell that she is excited about this performance as she knows very well each character of her classmate will be performing and very frequent i can hear her practise the theme song "our world A better place" during her TV watching interval time, shower or even teeth brushing time :)

Daddy and mummy got a shock of our life when we first seen En En appear on stage.
We had never seen her in nice pretty dress with her (she dont like to wear nice dress except for her Mickey Mouse attire and she will never agree to wear on any nice hair clip)

Me at first was worried that she will have stage phobie as she is kind of shy girl but daddy have confidence on her and mentioned " she can do it", and we can tell that she really enjoy her time on stage.

En En, daddy and mummy are so proud of you !!

My second meet the parents session

This is another postdated blog.

En school term end on 23 Nov and me and daddy went for meet the parents session with her class teacher - teacher kennie and teacher Juliet.

Teacher Kennie's comment was :
Zo En's strength lies in formation of words. She has s sharp hearing capability and is able to figure out the sentence and forms the words. She enjoy doing this exercise. Nevertheless, her writing skills needs to be improved as she does not write in sequence. She has a keen sense of particapation in class.

I am glad to head from teacher that she always choose to sit in the front row during class hour rather than sitting in the corner and always raise question when in doubt and she enjoy music and movement and story telling session.

The improvement i can see on her is her diet as everyday she will share with me she has eaten vege, meat...in school which she used to be fussy eater :)

hello everyone !!!

it has been a month since i last updated my blog....life has really been busy for me and there is something really bothering me.... well, life still goes on, just move on man.

My first Kumon English class finally "kick off" after all the parents meeting, staff training, interview,preparation for material.. phew !! its really new learning experience for me and really thanks to daddy's support during this superb-busy period as its really not easy and no joke to take care two toddler at the same time plus taking care of their daily food intake with numerous work.

For Ethan, he is little explorer now with hobby of climbing up and down staircase with no tired sign, its really good exercise for daddy and mummy and daddy just commented to me he actually "slimmed" down with muscles result from this activity, good sign !!! Ethan, please continue with ur habit :)

En has become more and more emotional, sometimes when i scold her, she will tell me : "mummy, i am about to cry, you make me sad again", her message make me pause for moment, did i scold her out of my anger or for her good sake ?????

Recently, favourite conversation between me and daddy as below:

Mummy : hey, Ethan (or En En) cute or not??? (looking at either of them with "geram" expression)
Daddy : CUTEEE !!

heee, a bit "bian tai" but i think this is by parent's nature, please bear with us :0

As for myself, am busy for the preparation to obtain license for additional English subject & Authorized license for Kumon centre. Have already completed the worksheet study (wooo !!finally, thanks to En's San Yi's help :)), need to get myslef prepare for the new material, parent's orientation, staff training, classroom procedure, centre visit blabla....Oct is another busy month for me :(
Hope to get satisfactory new enrolment. Chiong ah !!!

Tomorrow is last day of Sept and another three months is year 2008.

Milestone For Ethan - 1 Year Old

Our little cutie Ethan turned 1 year today !!!

For daddy & mummy, it is a milestone and a crossing over to "little boyhood"

On the eve of his birthday, we purposely delayed his sleeping time, we waited up and counted down to midnight. Ethan also so excited and playing actively with us though he was really sleepy :)

Very soon, he will be able to walk on his own and the moment of "mummy's boy","sticky baby"....., will just be sweet memories... we shall enjoy every joy & precious moment he bring to us on every stage of his growing up years..

Ethan, though it's tiring and really feel like "surrounder" at certain point of time when taking care of you, but daddy & mummy still enjoy being with you simply because you are percious to us.

Today is your 4th birthday....
Wish you grow up healthy and happy under the care & love of the loving people around you...

Today daddy noticed that you can no longer fit in to sleep in his legs which you always used to mention "i want to sleep in papa's triangle legs", mmmm... you have grown up taller and become big girl now...but.. please remain the same close touch with us enven when you grow bigger, alright?

You always mentioned to me "mummy, i Love you always", mummy love to hear you sweet talking to me, please do not stop all the sweet words even you grow bigger, ok ? :)

You mentioned to daddy,when you grow bigger, you want to open a bakery shop and buy us more more thing, so... remember to keep your promise,ok ?

You have more of your own stand and reasons now when doing something, sometimes we really have hard time on how to handle you,however, we will find the balance in between and sorry that sometimes we vent our frustration on you..

You still like to be carried by us, sometimes when mummy feel frustrated, daddy will come in and remind mummy "next time when you want to carry her, she might not want to be carried by you", so..next time when mummy and daddy raise the same needs to you, please do not object ya..

You have become more sensible now, hope you will maintain the same positive attitude and we will do our good job to build up your personality.

You are always a lovely girl to us and daddy and mummy love you so much !!

Below is long postdated event but i think i have to pen it down as this is the long waited gathering for En as she seldom have chance to meet with her yeeyee, uncle and her four 100% playmate(from the day she knows how to "play" :)cum cousins.

Though it's just few hours gathering but i think en enjoyed a lot as we can hear her non-stop laughter within the short 2 hours...

Not many picture capture as i was so busy with Ethan and he acted bit dopey throughout, maybe he is not so familiar with new faces bah...

Ethan turned 11 Months

One more month countdown to En & Ze’s birthday. Let me record down some of Ethan development before he turn 1 on 28th next month.

Physical
I am not sure about his weigh nor his height, but definitely he is taller but not as chubby as before. He can walk and even run now with mummy’s support.

Eating
He absolutely loves eating. See below picture of his mouth full of rice.(This lovely snake attire is from Sanyee)

When he sees us eating, he tries to reach out and grab.
Now will want him to sit on high chair at the dining table to have meal together with us, so he doesn’t have to stare at us eat. Sometimes he wants to try what is on our plates, so we’ll give him a suck on the fruit we’re eating, or give him 2-3 rice grains to munch.
He still on 2 solid meals (lunch- cereal and dinner-porridge ~3/4 bowl) and have his milk 2 hourly , snacks on babybites biscuit at noon time.
He loves pumpkin, apple, pear, kiwi, sweet potato, papaya,carrot, spinach, plum, brocoli and biscuits. He used to be banana lover but refused banana twice these two days, using his tongue to push it out and turning away from the spoon.
He enjoys meal time, opening his mouth eagerly, shouts out when the feeding is not quick enough.

Sleeping
He takes 2 naps in the day for about 2 hours per nap. Most of the night, he can sleep soundly and morning call me at about 7.30am for feed
Sometimes, he will crawl to my side and “sayang” my face in the middle of night. I will just suck him on tutu and he will continue to oioi.

Emotion
He is using same method to fake a cry if what he wanted was denied.
E.g. When I walk on without carrying him, he’ll fake a cry, “maam, maam, with eyes fixed on me.
He will insist on his demand
E.g. If I don’t give in to his fake cry, wave bye bye at him, and disappear, his tears will start flowing, and he’ll start arching his back, straightening legs, and bawl.
If I pick him up, he’ll stop crying immediately and show his smile. It’s the same when the toy he wants is given to him, he’ll stop his crying, and immediately play with the toy happily. That’s one thing good about him, he gets pacified easily. But…. It will just take about 15 minutes and he will cry again like there was no tomorrow !!
But the above apply “exclusively” only to Mummy.
He prefer to be carried by lady than man !!
Eg- Look at the photoes shown on “ Gathering with dajiu,…..
He never used to be that particular about who carrying him, but these two months is different. He needs time to warm up to people whom he doesn’t meet that often.
He enjoy playing with but will bully and disturb when En is doing something.
Normally En will say "aiyo" and hide to the other corner to continue with her work.

He likes
1) to shake on any objects he gets his hands on
2) to stand and walk as if he can walk on himself
3) anything that makes sound and music
4) to sit in the car and enjoy the traffic scene ( He can sit still in the car sit with jie jie without mummy and enjoy his travel time)
5) bath and pool time

6) to read on particular page (vehicle) on story book , by boy's nature.

7) to pinch hard on others body and its extremely painful, really feel like smack him at the point of time

Others
He can understand more vocab and will look at the object when we mention sofa, photoes, TV, plant, flower, chair, aeroplane,bird, dog... and not forgetting lizard.

Chicken Adventure

First week of Aug'07 was the first time En tried on KFC!! She asked for more and keep on saying " hao chi"

On the following weekend, on our trip to Mid Valley, we brought her to Yoshinoya to let her expose more to chicken taste, but seems like she dont really fancy...

Her third experience with chicken meat was when our gathering to "da gu" place. Da gu cooked asam chicken and she loves it !!!

Her chicken experience begin and we have another option for her meal !!

She is such a fussy eater and whenever she taste on new food, we will treat it as special experience for her and worth writing down :) crazy mummy

Nowsday, on our outing, we seldom have chance to take photoes for four of us. Normally, En will stick to daddy, and the mummy's boy will be under mummy's care

Part Time SAHM (Stay At Home Mom)

I am part time SAHM starting from 06 Aug'07 !!!

Ze's popo not able to take care of him anymore due to health problem, after discussion with daddy, we have decidede to give it a try to take care of Ze ourself instead of handling him to babysitter...thanks to popo for taking care of Ze for nine months and i wish we can do the good job too...

First week of SAHM is still manageable. Hee.. Ze like my cooking so much and enjoy mummy reading time to him, but i must say,he is really a sticky baby and i am still figure out ways to slowly change his habit.

but when he is with daddy, he behave well and enjoy sitting on walker running around the living room with laughter.

He bully mummy , just like his sister !!!!

Growing Pains

En has been experiencing "growing up" legs pains. It become more frequent recently.

She will wake up middle in the night, using her soft voice, " mummy, my legs pain again"

While applying muscle cream to her legs, suddendly I have this thought ------ When mummy beome old and have muscle pain in the middle of night, will you do it for mummy?

As for myself, will want to spend more time and care more for my mom and papa....

Opening of Creatif Kidz Art Centre - 10 Aug'2007

Today is remarkable day for Daddy, after few months hard work with uncle Roderick, today is the "huang dao ji ri" for putting up signboard. The time to put up signboard is from 3-5pm, we were slightly late and reached there about 3.15pm, the worker is already on the way to install the signboard and the lightbox , quite a number of perdestrian stop and look up, hmmmm... good sign !!!!

Wish everthing smooth and we look forward for the best !!!

En agreed to wear pink blouse with pink skirt together with pink hair clip after slight persuasion from mummy (as she normally will choose the attire by herself without mummy interference), seems like she knows today is special day and she will want to share the joy with daddy.

We went for Shakey Pizza for simple celebration, En finished whole plate of spaghetti, two big piece of garlic bread and 1 quarter glass of coke, very good appetite

Uncle Roderick gave a angpow for daddy and himself, for good beginning !! haha, so thoughtful of him

What Ze Do and Dont

I noticed below on Ze :
- He likes to take off my glasses and put it back for me. When I show angry face, he will do it again and again with cheeky face to test my temper

- He dislike lizard, when popo mention abt lizard and show him the direction, he will sure turn his face away.

- He love this cereal (pix as shown below). Will get him another flavour with same brand. Good recommendation for other mummy===> Organic cereal, good taste, easy to prepare and reasonable price.Mummy got it from "Why Not" organic shop.

- He has got six teeth, four upper and two lower teeth.

- He still lazy to crawl and prefer standing up.

Wonderful Dinner !!!

Yesterday was a fruithful day for us !!!!

Went to En's Da & Xiao gu place for dinner, look above for the yummy food !!!

Daddy eat to the extend where "lu yi you" is needed for him to ease stomach wind. He kept on commenting how nice are the dishes.

I was thinking which man has got the luck to marry "da gu" as wife. She is always so thoughtful to prepare a wonderful menu.

Da gu bought above lovely mickey pants for En. En was telling me yesterday she wants to wear this pants to school next week.

Favourites Books of two little darling

These are the two books i must include through out their growing years !!!

For En - It's a must for her to read at least two stories from each book. Every night she will say the same sentense :

"mummy, i want to read two stories from Chinese and English book"

The stories in Chinese book are really good in teaching children good behaviour. I have been looking around for quite sometime and finally daddy got this for her (daddy don't understand Chinese but still able to get this valuable book :)

En used to tell lies but after i read the story " Lang(2) Lai(2) Le(2)" to her, she is so amazed and stop telling lie from the day onwards.

For those mummy out there who are looking for books that can teach children good behavious, this book is good choice. Daddy got it from Malacca Mahkota book store.

For Ze - This is the only book he can sit still and listen to mummy reading for 20mimutes. And he will flip the pages and really engrossed with the picture.

En enjoy reading this book to Ze. She acted like teacher and Ze will look at her like student after few pages.
Will get him few more books for same series. Mummy got this book form MPH book store.

Little Ethan Crawled

Updates from popo :

Ethan was forced to crawl !!!
Nobody at home and popo took quick shower open door and left him outside. He cried like nobody business and forced to crawl to look for popo at the bathroom door.

Ethan looked at gong gong's picture hanging on the wall and turn to gongx2 with smiling face few times, seems like he knows both are same person :)

Mummy love Ethan so much !!!

Sick En En

We have decided to change milk powder from Pediasure to Enfakid for En En due to her frequent fall sick situation :(

Already given her enough fruit and water (daily Apple or Kiwi , vitamin, cod liver oil bla bla).. really dunno what to do ??? En's popo suggest to change milk powder for her)
thanks to daddy hard work who cooked all the nutricious food for her all the time and her diet and weight has improved :)

My conversation with En En this morning :

Mummy : En, later mummy cook porridge for u , ok ?
En En: Why papa is not cooking ???

Pengz.. aiya En En, Mummy will concentrate on moral growth by reading and drawing to u and daddy will concentrate on physical growth, " feng gong he zuo" mah, kek
